Individual workstations (TeraRecon) are available for each participant* during class as well as off-hours. Other vendors’ workstations are also available by prior arrangement.
Participants have access to the additional CTA case files on the server as well as other teaching materials and aids at the CVIC learning center. General principles of image processing are be stressed with a focus on learning skills, which are transferable to working on any manufacturer’s workstations.
Discussions about the business and information technology aspects of the CT scanning center in a private practice setting is also emphasized throughout the course.
Formal and informal evening activities are planned on a conference by conference basis, e.g., SF Giants or Oakland A’s baseball games.
*In cases of technologists and residents/fellows receiving a substantially reduced fee sharing of workstations may be necessary.
